ABLE2 is offering a series of virtual workshops to help families create a safe and secure future for a loved one with a disability.
The current pandemic environment has made many of us aware of the importance of having a plan in the event of a specific or significant change. This is especially true for people living with disabilities and their families. One way to help reduce stress and promote resilience is to have a Personal Continuity Plan that can be applied to our own personal circumstances.
This workshop aims to provide you with the framework, questions and decisions required to ensure you have a plan in place in the event of a change, whether large or small. By illustrating where you are today and your current position, you will explore how to determine what risks to your current circumstance may exist and begin to formulate answers with actionable steps.
Who should attend?
Parents and caregivers of a loved one with a disability and professionals in the community.
